In this performative video, a face is slowly pressed against a transparent pane of glass, its initially well-defined features distorted under the pressure. The glass becomes a contact surface, an invisible wall that gradually transforms the expression into an increasingly unrecognisable image. With each impact, the face leaves behind green traces, like an imprint of living paint that spreads and stretches, superimposing itself layer after layer.

These green traces, discrete at first, gradually invade the glass, creating abstract, almost organic patterns that evoke deformation and alteration. The face melts into this green matter, its contours blurred, and what was familiar gradually becomes monstrous. The eyes, nose and mouth are lost in this flood of colour, and what remains is an unrecognisable silhouette that is both fascinating and disturbing.

The glass transforms from a simple barrier into a canvas imbued with a disturbing vitality. The green traces seem to pulsate and breathe, evolving with each new impact of the face. What begins as an exploration of form and identity becomes a metaphor for transformation, for the way in which pressure and interaction with obstacles can alter and deform.
